Recently I read with great interest an article on Yahoo related to the Thailand election and how social media was playing a significant part in the election.
We had a look at the 90 day Share of Voice related to the Twitter handles quoted in the article.
The closeness of the Twitter result could be deceiving and when looking in context to all social and digital channels (i.e. Facebook, Blogs, Traditional News, Youtube, …) you get a very different picture of Share of Voice. Also the volume of people listening and engaging in conversations is drastically different between parties in both Twitter and Facebook.
